Ok, so I've been a slacker- but I feel VERY strongly now that Ryan and I need to get a WHOLE year of food storage together- and a real supply- not Top Ramen and fruit snacks...
Now, the question is, where do I store it? I think I've got the rotating aspect down just fine, but we need to have an actual place to store it...and I'm not sure where...
Our house is not huge, Hailyn's stuff is taking over. So my question to you fine folks is, how do you MANAGE your food storage, where do you ACTUALLY store it and do you have any creative ideas or tips for me while I venture out and accomplish this (daunting) task?

You are so getting into everything I am right now! I have a few links on my blog for food storage that I just love and have really helped me figure out how to get organized with it. But since you asked about storing it.... you have to go check out this video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCnXfO7YMfk It's just perfect for small spaces and you can totally dress it up and have it out as furniture!
thanks for the tip Tammy!:)
Come see me! We just had an emergency preparedness fair and I have extra cds from it!
KERI! I NEED to come see you! Tomorrow I've got a dentist appt. and friday until next friday I'm subbing daycare duty- so I won't be able to see you for over a week- in which I will come over for SURE! I miss you!
Lacie! We have this same issue. Where do we put it all?!?!? There is not any room for more stuff around here. Let me know what you guys do? For us we just try to cram what we do have (which is basically a lot of wheat and some milk and some everyday cans into the guest closet and it is outta control. Maybe we'll try to store some stuff under our beds or something. We obviously won't servive on just wheat! Which is why just yesterday I was looking into getting more stuff too!
I will! I'll repot on my progress and share any ideas I get from those smarter than me...it's tough! also we MAY be moving in three-four months (ugh)so it's going to be a constant battle. I'll probably store stuff under beds, use tables as nightstands with tablecloths over them, ect. We'll see how it goes!
So i picked up some bed risers from IKEA and put the #10 cans in boxes under my bed.
I NEED an IKEA here! so much!
We don't! We have a few cans in the closet under the stairs. I hope we like Ramen and fruit snacks when this house of cards comes tumbling down! Or maybe just the hamburger helper minus the hamburger! LOL
