Well, we would like to announce the birth of our blog... along with the birth of our baby!!! A lot of firsts for us this year! Well, I finally got down to the nitty gritty and decided to creat our family blog because I am horrible with updating people with pics and the happenings going on in our lives- so we decided to join the blogging world to better update people and keep in touch. We had a bit of exciting news this last month... the birth of our first child! Our little girl, Hailyn Brenlee Tidwell entered the world on Thursday Oct. 9, 2008 at 2:59am weighing in at 8lbs 4oz. and measuring 20 and 1/2 inches long. Here are the three of us right after the birth (ignore what I look like- I was at the hospital in labor for 32 hours with 3 hours of pushing- I was a little out of it:)

Yeah! I am glad you have a blog and even more excited about the new addition!Melanie called me the day she was born, but I had the kiddies so I couldn't come and visit in the hospital. My mom came down last weekend for my birthday, and I told her the news,and she was so mad she didn't know because she could have brought clothes down that she bought.
